Official Announcement: Construction Program Manager Approved & Project Relaunch Underway

Comstock Independent School District is pleased to announce that on September 9, 2025, the CISD Board of Trustees formally approved the hiring of Mr. Robert Gadbois of Professional Resources Group, Inc. to serve as Program Manager for the district’s bond-funded construction initiatives.

Mr. Gadbois has decades of experience in public-sector construction management, having guided numerous school districts across Texas through successful facilities projects. His firm will provide expert oversight, compliance monitoring, and project coordination as the district moves forward with its long-planned facility improvements.

This board action also marks the official relaunch of Comstock ISD’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Gymnasium project, which had previously experienced delays. Under Mr. Gadbois’s leadership, the district is now positioned to proceed with renewed direction, financial accountability, and professional oversight.

“We are committed to delivering a high-quality facility that meets the needs of our students and honors the trust of our community,” said Dr. Richard Cardin, Superintendent of Schools. “With the support of Professional Resources Group, we are confident this project will move forward efficiently and responsibly.”
